Meet Our Team of Professionals

Judith C. Adams, MS, LPC, NCC, NCBC, MSAPCB Certified Clinical Supervisor, EMDR, Agency Owner/Director

Dede Carson, AAS, BS, CDTA, MAADCII, Office Manager, Visit Supervisor, Parent Aide

Dede has managed Center for Life Coaching and Counseling since 2010. She is also a visit supervisor, alcohol and substance abuse counselor, parent educator, certified alcohol and substance abuse specimen collector, medical billing and coding specialist, and human resource manager. 

Her educational background includes a degree in business and marketing and a degree in psychology. Her experience includes working with clients dealing with substance or alcohol abuse, parenting issues, and an assortment of other challenges. She uses a variation of approaches to help her clients, depending on individual or family needs.

Her most significant reward is helping her clients explore ways to make changes in their lives that will permit them to look forward to the future, with hope. She believes that we all need someone to talk with who will listen to the changes we want to make, without judgment. She provides her clients with a sincere, nonjudgmental environment, which is a safe place to explore issues that may be preventing them from living the life they want.

Jenni Schmidt, BA, Life Coach, Parent Aide, Visit Supervisor, Administrative Assistant

Jenni is a Life Coach, Parent Educator and Administrative Assistant who enjoys working with families and individuals to assist them in making positive changes in their lives.  Jenni accepts the challenge of helping people identify what works as well as what doesn't, and then how to move forward.  She essentially shows people how to get out of their own way!   Jenni believes that most people know what they need to do but lack the tools to put their energy in motion.  Jenni has over 12 years experience  in family crisis, client centered services and parent education.  Jenni has overcome obstacles and enjoyed a great deal of self-growth through meeting challenges.  This, along with her experience working with families, is what led her to pursue life coaching.  Jenni has been helping people through her coaching methods for 5 years.  

Jenni earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from College of the Ozarks.  Since earning her degree, she has studied many aspects of family life, substance abuse issues, child welfare, coaching techniques, ethics, and personal motivation among many other related subjects.  Jenni is also an Administrative Assistant and takes many of the incoming calls to the center.  Jenni will most likely be the one to assist you in the intake process and will help you find the best fit for your needs!

Cynthia Abbott, MS, LPC

Cynthia Abbott is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with children, adolescents, adults and families. She has over 6 years of experience helping people deal with a variety of issues - anxiety, depression, substance abuse, PTSD, self-harm, and sexual trauma/abuse. Cynthia subscribes to an eclectic combination of therapy modalities, including, but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Existential Theory, Solution-Focused Therapy and Holistic Psychotherapy. Cynthia is currently obtaining a specialty in Trauma  and Disaster Crisis Intervention Counseling.

She obtained a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, Fullerton, and her Masters Degree in Counseling from Missouri State University.  Cynthia originally worked in the corporate world in International Sales Administration, and was able to travel overseas extensively for business for many years. Throughout her travels, one thing became very clear to her, and that was regardless of one's race, religion, or culture, people all suffer similarly from the same mental health maladies that restrict us from being the best and happiest person we can be.  So she decided to leave the corporate world behind and do something that she felt had more meaning and had a direct impact on the well-being of individuals.  
Christopher S. Bunn, MS, LPC, MAADC II

Master's Level Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Missouri Associate Alcohol Drug Counselor II
Received his Master's Degree in Community Counseling from Pittsburgh State University in 2003, Chris holds extensive experience working with adolescents with mental health and substance use issues and their families. He has over 15 years of experience working within the juvenile and adult justice systems, drug courts, the state health and human services system, and local school systems.  Chris has a particularly broad experience in treating adults with both mental health and substance use issues as well.

Likewise, he enjoys working with couples and families.  Chris' areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, attention deficit disorder, grief and bereavement, anger management, family therapy, adolescent behavioral issues, and substance abuse/dependence. Chris became a therapist to help people navigate their complex worlds in order to live a healthier, happier life.  He believes in a holistic approach to mental health in that all components of ones' life are interrelated.  He is committed to providing the highest quality of care to promote your healing and growth. Chris enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid animal lover.

Cathy C. Hennessey, LCSW

Carole Martin, MA, LPC, CCCE

Carole has been licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2005. She graduated with a Master of Arts in Counseling from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in 2001. She is a Mediation Specialist and a Certified Child Custody Evaluator since 2008. 

Carole holds a Bachelor of Social Work Degree from the University of Kansas since 1985. Also, she is a Recognized Associate Substance Abuse Counselor II since 2012. Carole has worked as a social worker for over 20 years, dealing with birth parents and foster parents and children. She has extensive experience in adoption issues. 

Carole uses behavioral therapy with adults and adolescents and play therapy with younger children. Carole sees individuals from four to adult. Carole lives with her husband and dog, Molly. She has six children, two of which are adopted. 


Tanya L. Parker, MS, LPC

Tanya has over a dozen years of experience of successfully working with individuals, couples, and families. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Christian Counseling, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Tanya received the GP21 award for cultural diversity for her graduating class at Drury University 2013. 

She has lived in Missouri for most of her life but has also lived in Hawaii, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, and Kansas. Tanya enjoys art, music, and playing with her grandchildren. 

“She is easy to talk to and really cares out her clients. She will give you homework and you can progress as quickly as you want,” stated by a former client. 

Meg Roetto, LCSW

Meg Roetto is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who obtained a Bachelors Degree of Social Work from the University of Montana in 2010, a Masters Degree of Social Work from Missouri State University 2014, a Clinical Social Work License in 2017 and she is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy.  Additionally, Meg is working to become a licensed play therapist to further pursue her passion for healing families, whether biological, blended, or adopted so that they may function at their highest level throughout life’s ups and downs. 

Meg has previously worked in medical social work but has primarily been working in the adoption and foster world. This experience allowed Meg to realize her love of walking along side individuals, couples, and families as they work through trauma, grief and loss, family transitions, parenting struggles, and other difficulties in their lives. 

She feels rewarded when she sees clients and families living life to the fullest, regardless of whatever tough circumstances they have been faced with.

Paula Greninger, MA, LPC

Paula L. Greninger is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 20 years of experience working in behavioral health with children, adolescents and their families.   Paula specializes in working with children who have experienced any level of trauma.  Paula enjoys helping children overcome their fear and other feelings related to things that they have experienced to no fault of their own. She provides evidenced based Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy which to helps children tell their story.

Paula understands how trauma is stored in the brain and knows how to help children to overcome the damages that can occur when bad things happen. As a trauma trained therapist, she believes that children and adolescents lives can be changed dramatically by addressing these issues early in life.

Paula has worked in both Missouri and Oklahoma as a trauma therapist. She was chosen to be one of five therapists to participate in a pilot program for the State of Oklahoma to address trauma for children in the Department of Health Services.

Paula is holds a Master’s degree in Counseling from Webster University in Kansas City, MO. After achieving her degree she has continued her studies with the University of Arkansas and John Brown University.

Cindi Grace, MS, PLPC, NCC

Cindi currently works as a Parent Aide and Parent Educator. She loves working with children of all ages and their families to form happier and healthier relationships. Cindi has worked in the mental health field since 1988.  She has experience working with children and adults with developmental disabilities/dual diagnosis and their families. 

Cindi has experience working with families of children diagnosed with high functioning autism, attention-deficit disorder, and sexual orientation issues. Cindi holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Missouri Southern State University, 1991. Her Master of Science Degree in Guidance and Counseling was granted by Missouri State University in May 1999.   Cindi is currently provisionally licensed under the supervision of Judith Adams, MS, PLPC, NCC, NCBC .
Kristy Weeks, MS, LPC

Kristy is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with children, adolescents, adults and families.  She obtained a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Pittsburg State University in 2003, and a Masters Degree from Oklahoma State University in 2011.  

She was licensed as a counselor in 2013 in the state of Oklahoma, and as a counseling supervisor in Oklahoma in 2017. After a recent move to Missouri, she was licensed as a therapist in Missouri in 2018.

Kristy has previously worked in a school-based setting, but also has had extensive work with domestic violence and sexual assault.  These experiences have helped Kristy to realize her passion for helping people to live a holistically healthy life.
