She obtained a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, Fullerton, and her Masters Degree in Counseling from Missouri State University. Cynthia originally worked in the corporate world in International Sales Administration and was able to travel overseas extensively for business for many years. Throughout her travels, one thing became very clear to her, and that was regardless of one's race, religion, or culture, people all suffer similarly from the same mental health maladies that restrict us from being the best and happiest person we can be. So she decided to leave the corporate world behind and do something that she felt had more meaning and had a direct impact on the well-being of individuals.
