Judith Adams, MA, Founder

Judith Adams is the founder of the Center for Life Coaching and Counseling, established in 2006 with a vision to provide compassionate, accessible, and high-quality mental health services to individuals and families throughout the community. Her dedication to helping others laid the foundation for the practice's continued growth and commitment to client-centered care.

Judith earned her Master's degree in Psychology and spent many years supporting individuals as they navigated a variety of life's challenges. Throughout her career, she was passionate about creating a safe, welcoming environment where clients could find hope, healing, and encouragement as they worked toward personal growth and emotional well-being.

The Center for Life Coaching and Counseling has grown into a comprehensive mental health practice serving children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. The practice is dedicated to providing individualized, evidence-based care in a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.

Judith's vision and commitment to compassionate, client-centered care continue to serve as the foundation of the Center for Life Coaching and Counseling. The practice remains dedicated to helping individuals and families build resilience, discover hope, and achieve meaningful, lasting change through high-quality mental health services.

Dede Carson, CEO, LCSW, CDTA, MAADCII, AAS, Supervisor

Dede Carson is the Chief Executive Officer of the Center for Life Coaching and Counseling, where she has been dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centered mental health care since 2010. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Dede is passionate about helping individuals and families overcome life's challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.

Her diverse educational and professional background includes degrees in Business and Marketing, Psychology, and a Master of Social Work. In addition to her clinical expertise, Dede is a certified alcohol and substance abuse specimen collector, a medical billing and coding specialist, and an experienced human resources manager. This broad foundation has enabled her to develop and lead the Center for Life Coaching and Counseling into a comprehensive practice focused on delivering high-quality, individualized care.

Dede has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She provides support for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, parenting challenges, life transitions, relationship issues, and personal growth. She believes that every client deserves a treatment plan tailored to their unique strengths, goals, and circumstances.

At the heart of Dede's practice is a commitment to creating a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free environment where clients feel heard, respected, and supported. She strives to build trusting therapeutic relationships that empower individuals to gain insight, develop practical coping skills, and move confidently toward healthier, more fulfilling lives.

As CEO, Dede remains committed to fostering a culture of excellence, compassion, and integrity throughout the Center for Life Coaching and Counseling. Her mission is to ensure that every client receives exceptional care while helping individuals and families discover hope, healing, and the confidence to thrive.

Cynthia Abbott, MS, LPC

Cynthia Abbott is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has over 6 years of experience helping people deal with a variety of issues - anxiety, depression, substance abuse, PTSD, self-harm, and sexual trauma/abuse. Cynthia subscribes to an eclectic combination of therapy modalities, including, but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Existential Theory, Solution-Focused Therapy and Holistic Psychotherapy.

 

Cynthia is currently obtaining a specialty in Trauma and Disaster Crisis Intervention Counseling. She obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, Fullerton, and her Master's Degree in Counseling from Missouri State University.

 

Cynthia originally worked in the corporate world in International Sales Administration and traveled overseas extensively for business for many years. Throughout her travels, one thing became very clear to her, and that was regardless of one's race, religion, or culture, people all suffer similarly from the same mental health maladies that restrict us from being the best and happiest person we can be. So she decided to leave the corporate world behind and do something she felt had greater meaning and a direct impact on individuals' well-being.

Christopher S. Bunn, MS, LPC, MAADC II

Master's Level Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Missouri Associate Alcohol Drug Counselor II. Received his Master's Degree in Community Counseling from Pittsburgh State University in 2003, Chris holds extensive experience working with adolescents with mental health and substance use issues and their families.

 

He has over 15 years of experience working within the juvenile and adult justice systems, drug courts, the state health and human services system, and local school systems. Chris has a particularly broad experience in treating adults with both mental health and substance use issues as well. Likewise, he enjoys working with couples and families. Chris' areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, attention deficit disorder, grief and bereavement, anger management, family therapy, adolescent behavioral issues, and substance abuse/dependence.

 

Chris became a therapist to help people navigate their complex worlds and live healthier, happier lives. He believes in a holistic approach to mental health in that all components of one's life are interrelated. He is committed to providing the highest-quality care to promote your healing and growth. Chris enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid animal lover.

Jeannette M. Hayton, MSW, Parent Aide, Visit Supervisor

Jeannette Hayton serves as a devoted Parent Aid and Office Administrator at the Center for Life Coaching and Counseling, where she has worked for several years. Known for her warmth, efficiency, and unwavering dedication to family well-being, Jeannette plays a vital role in supporting both clients and the agency’s daily operations.

In her role as Parent Aid, Jeannette works closely with families, providing compassionate guidance and practical strategies to help parents strengthen their relationships with their children. She assists parents in navigating challenges, fostering effective communication, and creating a nurturing home environment. Jeannette’s approachable and empathetic style helps parents feel understood and empowered to make positive changes.

As the Office Administrator, Jeannette ensures that the Center for Life Coaching and Counseling operates smoothly and efficiently. She handles scheduling, manages client records, and provides essential support to the agency’s staff, creating an organized, welcoming atmosphere for all who enter. Her attention to detail and professionalism make her an invaluable resource, and she is often the first friendly face clients see upon arrival.

With her years of experience at the Center for Life Coaching and Counseling, Jeannette has become a trusted and respected team member, embodying the agency’s mission to support and uplift families. Her dual role reflects her commitment to making the agency a compassionate, supportive place where clients can feel safe and valued.

Cody Osborn, PLPC

Cody Osborn is a skilled and compassionate mental health therapist at the Center for Life Coaching and Counseling, where he has worked for several years, providing vital support to clients navigating life’s challenges. With a focus on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space, Cody helps individuals and families explore their emotions, build resilience, and discover healthier ways to manage stress and relationships.

Cody’s approach to therapy is client-centered and adaptive, utilizing various therapeutic techniques tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. His experience spans working with individuals facing a wide range of concerns, from anxiety and depression to relationship difficulties and personal growth. Known for his empathy, patience, and commitment, Cody has a genuine ability to connect with clients, helping them feel heard and supported on their journey toward healing.

In addition to his one-on-one sessions, Cody is actively involved in the Center for Life Coaching and Counseling community, contributing to a welcoming and inclusive environment that prioritizes mental well-being for all. His dedication to mental health advocacy and client care has made him a trusted therapist at the center, as well as a respected colleague among his peers.

Through his years of service, Cody Osborn has become a valued part of the Center for Life Coaching and Counseling team, embodying the agency’s mission to foster growth, resilience, and hope in each client’s life.

Steph Fleck, MS, LPC

Steph is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Internationally Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor. She has training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and is in the process of obtaining her certification in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Psychotherapy (EMDR) as well as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

 

She has provided care in the mental health field for approximately 10 years and has provided therapy for approximately 6 years. Throughout this time, she has worked with a variety of individuals, each truly having their own story. She appreciates the trust many have instilled in her to support them in their challenges, their successes, and simply within the present moment of engaging with them in a simple conversation.

 

She hopes to develop a strong therapeutic rapport and influence feelings of safety through nonjudgmental engagement, as this is a critical component in allowing oneself to become vulnerable with another human being. Her approach is eclectic, and she will advocate for what she determines to be in your best interest as her client.

 

Cindi Grace, MS, LPC, NCC

Cindi Grace is a dedicated licensed professional counselor at the Center for Life Coaching and Counseling, where she has made a significant impact for several years. Driven by a passion for helping children of all ages and their families build healthier, more fulfilling relationships, Cindi brings over three decades of experience to her work. Since 1988, she has developed a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding mental health and has worked tirelessly to support individuals and families in their journeys toward emotional well-being.

Throughout her career, Cindi has gained extensive experience working with individuals affected by developmental disabilities and dual diagnoses. Her expertise spans a wide range of mental health challenges, from helping children and families navigate the intricacies of high-functioning autism and attention-deficit disorder (ADD) to addressing the sensitive issues of sexual orientation and identity.

 

Cindi is well-versed in a variety of therapeutic modalities, tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs of each family. Whether guiding families through complex communication challenges or supporting children in developing coping skills, she is committed to creating safe, empathetic spaces for growth and healing.

Cindi holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Missouri Southern State University (1991) and a Master of Science in Guidance and Counseling from Missouri State University (1999). Her academic foundation, combined with her extensive hands-on experience, allows her to offer profound insight and guidance to those she serves.

 

Cindi’s unwavering dedication to the well-being of children and families has made her a highly respected and invaluable resource in the mental health and counseling community, where she continues to inspire positive change.

Shannon Boyer, PLPC

Shannon Boyer is a dedicated provisionally licensed mental health therapist who provides compassionate, client-centered care at the Center for Life Coaching and Counseling. Specializing in assisting individuals through personal and emotional challenges, Shannon creates a supportive environment that encourages self-discovery and growth. She focuses on evidence-based therapeutic approaches—such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, and strengths-based techniques—to develop personalized treatment plans that resonate with each client’s unique needs.

With a master's degree in counseling, Shannon is committed to fostering a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and valued. Her approach emphasizes self-awareness, resilience, and empowerment, guiding clients toward achieving emotional well-being, improving interpersonal relationships, and developing lasting coping skills.

 

Shannon's dedication to supporting clients on their journey toward greater life satisfaction is rooted in her belief in the transformative potential of therapy and personal growth. Carole Martin, LPC

Carole Martin, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), has been a dedicated mental health therapist at the Center for Life Coaching and Counseling for several years. With a passion for helping individuals achieve emotional well-being and personal growth, Carole has become a trusted and compassionate guide for her clients.

Carole’s therapeutic approach is grounded in empathy, understanding, and respect for each client’s unique journey. She utilizes a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, tailoring her methods to meet the specific needs and goals of the individuals and families she works with. Whether addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship challenges, Carole creates a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients can openly explore their concerns and find pathways to healing.

Tammie Veirs, Parent Aide, Intake Specialist 

Tammie Veirs serves as the skilled and compassionate Office Administrator, Intake Specialist, and Parent Aide at the Center for Life Coaching and Counseling. With a warm and welcoming approach, Tammie is often the first point of contact for clients, ensuring they feel supported, heard, and understood from the very beginning. She expertly handles referrals from a wide range of sources, carefully assessing each client’s unique needs to match them with the therapist best suited to provide effective, meaningful support and guidance.

In her multifaceted role, Tammie plays a crucial part in creating a seamless and positive experience for clients. Her strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and dedication to client care ensure the agency runs smoothly, helping clients feel valued and well-prepared as they embark on their therapeutic journeys. Tammie also serves as a Parent Aide, providing valuable support to families, helping them navigate challenges and strengthen their relationships.

Tammie’s commitment to fostering a supportive, efficient, and caring environment reflects her deep passion for helping individuals and families achieve healing and growth. She remains dedicated to making each client’s experience as positive and seamless as possible, ensuring they are connected to the resources and professionals that best meet their needs.

Cassandra (Cassie) Abramovitz, MSW Intern

Cassandra (Cassie) Abramovitz is a Master of Social Work intern at the Center for Life Coaching and Counseling, where she is gaining valuable clinical experience as she works toward becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She is passionate about supporting individuals and families through life's challenges while continuing to expand her knowledge and clinical skills under professional supervision.

As an intern, Cassie provides counseling services in a supportive, client-centered environment. She is committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journey. She believes that every individual has the capacity for growth and healing and strives to help clients build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

Cassie is dedicated to providing compassionate care and values the opportunity to work alongside experienced clinicians who mentor and support her professional development. She is honored to be part of the Center for Life Coaching and Counseling team and looks forward to continuing her journey toward becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker while making a positive impact on the lives of those she serves.

Aaron Sanders, BS, Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern

Aaron Sanders, BS, Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern, is a dedicated counselor-in-training at the Center for Life Coaching and Counseling, where he provides individual counseling services with a primary focus on adults. He is passionate about creating a welcoming, supportive environment where clients feel safe exploring their emotions, building resilience, and developing the confidence to thrive.

Aaron believes that every individual has a unique story, and he considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they navigate life's challenges and discover their own strengths. He is committed to meeting clients where they are by offering compassion, encouragement, and practical support while honoring each person's experiences, values, and goals.

Aaron has a particular passion for working with underserved populations and strives to cultivate an inclusive, accepting environment where clients can embrace their healing journey with confidence and pride. His therapeutic approach is grounded in person-centered counseling while integrating elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy. He believes that the counseling relationship is built on trust, authenticity, and collaboration. Aaron works to help clients gain insight into their experiences, develop practical coping strategies, and recognize the resilience they already possess as they move toward meaningful, lasting growth.

Aaron earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Colorado Technical University in 2022, graduating summa cum laude. He is currently completing his Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University and is expected to graduate in December 2026. He remains committed to lifelong learning and providing compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers clients to achieve their personal goals and live fuller, healthier lives.

Outside of the counseling office, Aaron enjoys spending quality time with his wife, children, and extended family. Whether camping, sharing home-cooked meals, or simply enjoying time together, he values the importance of strong relationships and meaningful connections. He is an avid reader who enjoys exploring a wide range of genres, a creative writer who appreciates storytelling, and a passionate home cook who enjoys experimenting with new recipes. Aaron also enjoys relaxing with video games and is a dedicated model train enthusiast who takes pride in collecting, building, and expanding his railroad displays. A lifelong learner with a naturally curious spirit, he enjoys hobbies that encourage creativity, patience, and problem-solving.

Aaron is a proud supporter of the LGBTQ+ community and is committed to providing an affirming, respectful, and welcoming environment where every client feels safe, heard, and valued. He believes that healing begins with acceptance and that every person deserves a space where they can authentically be themselves while working toward meaningful growth and lasting well-being.

Lizzie Sanders, MS, PLPC
 

Lizzie Sanders, MS, PLPC, is a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor at the Center for Life Coaching and Counseling, where she provides counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults. She is passionate about creating a welcoming, accepting environment where clients feel safe enough to be themselves, knowing they will be met with compassion, respect, and genuine understanding.

Lizzie believes that every person's path to healing is unique, and she considers it a privilege to walk alongside her clients throughout that journey. She recognizes that seeking therapy takes courage and believes that the true credit for growth belongs to the client. Whether celebrating small victories or navigating life's most difficult seasons, Lizzie is committed to helping clients discover their strengths, build resilience, and move confidently toward the life they want to create.

Her therapeutic approach is primarily person-centered, integrating elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Child-Centered Play Therapy to meet the unique needs of each client. Lizzie believes therapy should meet people where they are—not only emotionally, but sometimes physically as well. While traditional office sessions are always available, she also enjoys incorporating movement, outdoor settings, and engaging activities when they support a client's comfort and therapeutic goals. She believes healing often occurs when clients feel relaxed, connected, and free to engage in ways that feel natural to them.

Lizzie earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Colorado Technical University in 2021 and her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in 2025. She graduated summa cum laude from both programs and remains committed to lifelong learning and providing compassionate, evidence-based care that honors each client's unique experiences and strengths.

Lizzie enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, self-esteem concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, and relationship challenges. Her goal is not only to help clients overcome obstacles but also to empower them with practical coping skills, greater self-awareness, and the confidence to continue growing long after counseling has ended.

Outside of the counseling office, Lizzie treasures spending time with her husband and children, especially while camping, swimming, or visiting the ocean. She is an enthusiastic reader and enjoys creative hobbies such as crocheting, knitting, and cooking. A devoted animal lover, Lizzie values kindness, authenticity, and creating an inclusive environment where every client feels welcomed, respected, and supported.

Lizzie is proud to provide an affirming space for members of the LGBTQ+ community and believes everyone deserves to feel accepted exactly as they are. She is committed to fostering a therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, and respect, where clients feel empowered to pursue meaningful growth and lasting well-being.
